Cycle Command Console — Closed vs Open

Realized proof versus active burden.

The key idea

Reference

AUTHORIZED POOL29.0%gate-set cycle riskACTIVE OPEN RISK11.0%live stop distance, summed=REMAINING18.0%fresh-trade capacityDIRECTIVE@ 6% eachEXPOSURE PRESSURE11.0 / 29.0 = 37.9%OPEN RISK CONSUMES FRESH CAPACITY

The exposure-pressure chain: authorized pool, minus live open risk, equals fresh capacity - resolved into one deployment directive.

The distinction

Two kinds of truth that must never mix.

The console's entire honesty rests on refusing to let open positions masquerade as results:

  • A clean completed cycle: all 4 trades closed, Active Risk % = 0, Final Net R entered — clean Throttle EV Input Status.
  • Two closed, two open: closed trades feed preliminary evidence, but open trades prevent a clean completed-cycle EV status — the console reports Insufficient Sample honestly.
  • Active Risk % means true remaining downside: reduced stop = reduced risk; break-even = zero active risk.

Why it matters

02

The most common console misuse, prevented.

Treating floating R as realized evidence is the single most common way traders corrupt cycle governance — a basket of green open trades feels like proof, and sizing up on that feeling stacks exposure exactly when it shouldn't stack. The console structurally separates the two so the throttle never sees feelings dressed as facts.

Downstream

What each side feeds.

Closed-trade truth drives Daily EV Status and Cycle P&L Direction in the Throttle_Feed packet. Open-trade truth drives Active Open Risk % and remaining pool capacity in the smart capacity chain. Both travel in the same handoff — labeled correctly.

The floating-R quarantine

Unrealized P&L is displayed, labeled, and never trusted.

Floating R appears on the console deliberately — hiding it would just move the glancing to the broker window — but it renders as context with no downstream consumers: no formula reads it, no status derives from it. The quarantine converts the most seductive number on any screen into decoration, which is the only safe thing it can be.
