Cycle Command Console — The Handoff

The Throttle_Feed transfer contract.

In practice

The exposure-pressure chain: authorized pool, minus live open risk, equals fresh capacity - resolved into one deployment directive.

The packet

01

Eight fields of throttle-ready truth.

The Throttle_Feed packet carries: gate state, Daily EV Status, Cycle P&L Direction, Open Carryover Trades, Active Open Risk %, Floating R, Min Viable Fresh PT Risk %, and override mode. Every field is computed, not estimated — the throttle makes the deployment decision, but it never re-derives the evidence.

The round-trip

02

Authorized values mirror back.

After the throttle decision, the authorized pool and per-trade values return to the console. Skipping this mirror step is a named edge case: next-cycle smart sizing runs blind without it. The handoff is a contract, and contracts have two directions.

Why a formal contract

03

Auditability beats memory.

Because the packet is formal, any cycle decision can later be audited: what the gate said, what the evidence showed, what exposure existed, and what the throttle authorized. The Cycle Decision Log records the outcome; the Throttle_Feed records the inputs that justified it.

Contract versioning

04

The Throttle_Feed fields are frozen between versions.

The packet's field list is a versioned contract: the console may compute new internals freely, but what crosses the boundary changes only at a documented version bump both workbooks adopt together. Frozen interfaces are why the two modules can each be improved independently for years without the handoff quietly corrupting.
