Diagnostics — Structural Health

The full operating condition, in one composite read.

Layer 01The philosophy

Judge the machine, not one output.

The founding doctrine of MARS applies here most directly: do not judge the machine by one output; judge it by the full operating condition of the machine. A green month with expanding drawdown, decaying acceleration, and a RAER/RAPF contradiction is not a healthy machine — structural health is where those threads become one verdict.

  • Inputs: EV trend, DD posture, RAER/RAPF alignment, ACCEL slope, variance/regime state, adherence.
  • Output: a review posture — continue, watch, repair, reduce aggression — not a trade signal.

Layer 02The verdict logic

How threads become one answer.

The composite works by hierarchy, not averaging. Survival reads (DD posture, gate pressure) can cap the verdict regardless of how strong everything else looks; quality reads (RAER/RAPF alignment) can downgrade a profitable surface; momentum reads (ACCEL, drift) decide between 'holding' and 'improving'. A strong average with one critical thread is not health — it is a warning with good camouflage.

  • Verdicts map to postures: continue, watch, repair, reduce aggression — each with a defined review scope.
  • Stability weighting means erratic strength scores below steady adequacy.
  • The verdict is written into monthly review notes, creating a health history the trader can actually see trending.
