Indicators — EW Convergence

Where the waves agree, the setup earns weight.

The concept

Confluence over conviction.

A wave count on one timeframe is an opinion; agreement across timeframes is evidence. The indicator condenses that agreement into a convergence read, giving the discretionary entry decision a structural quality filter that pairs with the authority-timeframe logic used throughout the volatility layer.

  • Strong convergence supports trend-branch selection and continuation management.
  • Divergence between timeframes is a caution flag for Trend No-Partial aggression.

In practice

How the convergence read gets used.

The read enters the pre-trade sequence after hard permission and branch selection: strong multi-timeframe agreement upgrades setup quality and supports trend-branch selection; divergence downgrades toward Standard management or a skip. It informs the Structure lens of the variant matrix — one voice among seven, never a solo authority.

  • Convergence context gets noted in trade capture, so setup-quality claims are auditable against outcomes.
  • Strong convergence plus clean ATR expansion is the classic Trend No-Partial evidence pair.
  • The indicator never overrides session rules, news filters, or gate authority — confluence is quality, not permission.

How MARS uses this

MARS treats confluence as evidence quality: when independent structures - wave counts, higher-timeframe levels, volatility posture - converge on the same zone, the setup earns a higher evidence grade and access to fuller deployment. Isolated signals remain tradeable but are sized as the weaker evidence they are.

How it benefits you

Setup quality becomes a graded input instead of a binary feeling. Your best-evidenced trades systematically carry more of the risk budget, marginal trades stop consuming full-size authority, and 'A+ setup' finally has a definition that survives review.
