The Platform

Eleven workbooks.
One authority.

MARS is not a pile of spreadsheets. Evidence flows forward from every trade, permission flows down from capital protection — and nothing lower in the stack can override anything above it.

What MARS is

Discretionary at the trigger. Quantitative everywhere else.

MARS is a professional-grade discretionary-quant trading framework. It is not a journal, not a dashboard, not a risk calculator — it is an integrated operating system that routes every trade, every risk decision, every branch and every review cycle through structured quantitative governance.

How MARS uses this

Every decision in MARS is routed through this hierarchy in order. The plan defines doctrine; gate state defines capital posture; the throttle converts posture into deployment numbers; evidence and diagnostics inform from below; R&D stays sandboxed at the bottom until validated. When layers disagree, the higher layer wins - always.

How it benefits you

The system stays coherent under pressure. A confident setup cannot bypass a damaged gate, a green daily EV cannot outrank drawdown authority, and experiments cannot contaminate live rules. That one constraint eliminates the failure mode that kills most complex trading systems: everything modifying everything.

The MARS authority stack. Authority flows down; evidence flows up; nothing lower may override anything above it.

The authority stack

02

No lower signal may override capital protection.

Gate and drawdown state sit at the top of live authority. Everything else — EV reads, volatility context, structural diagnostics, even operator conviction — informs but never overrules. When layers disagree, the higher layer wins. Always.

The loop

03

Trade. Capture. Score. Diagnose. Throttle. Review. Improve.

MARS runs on a repeated rhythm across eight horizons, from pre-trade to structural. Every trade passes defined checkpoints, so none enters on impulse and none exits without leaving evidence behind. Eleven workbooks form one closed loop: evidence flows forward, authority flows down, and the decision log proves whether the system was obeyed.

Branches and the name

04

Four branches. Four jobs. Zero identity drift.

Normal, Trend Partial, Trend No-Partial and Overflow are tracked as separate branches with separate doctrines, EV and quotas, and branch identity is chosen before entry. The name carries the doctrine: Monte Carlo is the ruler, expectancy grades live performance, alpha is outperformance earned cleanly, and the rails keep behaviour inside the envelope.

In practice

The three-layer module ecosystem: evidence flows up from the core, authority flows down the deployment rail, context validates from above.
