Weekly Scorecard · The Weekly Questions

Five answers instead of one feeling.

Layer 01The weekly questions

Five answers instead of one feeling.

Did Normal produce acceptable EV? Did Trend Partial? Did Trend No-Partial justify its variance? Did Overflow remain controlled? Did the blended system remain positive expectancy? That is the professional upgrade over staring at weekly P&L.

Layer 02Where it lives

Inside Weekly Scorecard.

This page expands one card of the Weekly Scorecard page into its own reference. For orientation, the module's own framing: The Weekly Trading Scorecard is the weekly expectancy health monitor. It converts branch-level probabilities into branch EV, blends by the active profile weights, and tags the week by expectancy health — replacing 'did I make money?' with 'is the system still worth deploying?'

How MARS uses this

MARS never trusts a single blended figure. Weekly branch probabilities produce a separate EV per branch, weighted by the live profile (45 / 33.75 / 11.25 / 10 by default) into the blend. Reviews read the decomposition first: which branch produced the edge, which one leaked it, and whether the weights still match the evidence.

How it benefits you

You stop repairing the wrong thing. When results dip, the decomposition shows whether the whole system weakened or one branch is dragging - so you fix a branch instead of overhauling a working system, and you spot a single strong branch masking weakness everywhere else.

Worked example

Every trade plotted by pain taken (MAE) versus opportunity generated (MFE). The four quadrants diagnose entry precision and exit management at a glance.

CLEAN: low pain, high opportunitySURVIVORS: works, but absorbs painQUIET: low pain, low reachBLEEDERS: pain without payoffMAE (stop consumed) →MFE (opportunity) →

Layer 03Question order

The five questions are asked in sequence for a reason.

Expectancy health is asked first because every later answer is conditional on it; quota compliance is asked last because volume sins are judged against the week's quality. Reordering the questions changes the verdicts — asking 'did I make money' anywhere in the sequence changes them for the worse, which is why it never appears.
