Judge the machine, not one output.
The founding doctrine of MARS applies here most directly: do not judge the machine by one output; judge it by the full operating condition of the machine. A green month with expanding drawdown, decaying acceleration, and a RAER/RAPF contradiction is not a healthy machine — structural health is where those threads become one verdict.

How MARS uses this
Each closed trade logs its worst adverse excursion and best favorable excursion. The lab plots them into quadrants and pairs the picture with capture efficiency, giveback, and fee drag - then the EV Driver Diagnostics rank which repair (entry location, coefficient, trail logic, cost avoidance) would move net expectancy most.
How it benefits you
Review produces one concrete fix instead of a vague resolution to 'trade better'. You see whether stops are too tight, entries are chased, exits leak the runner, or fees quietly eat the edge - and whether a profitable week was actually clean or just lucky.

Worked example
A rolling metric leaving its normal band: inside ±1σ is weather; a sustained walk toward −2σ is climate - and climate gets flagged.

Grading outputs alone teaches the machine to flatter.
A health check that reads only results will bless every lucky streak and panic at every variance cluster. Structural health inspects the machinery instead — stability, drift, efficiency, agreement — because a machine can produce good months while rotting and bad months while sound, and only the machinery view tells those apart.
