The eight
Not stages in a sequence — speeds running concurrently.
The horizons are not a longer version of the nine-stage loop. They run at the same time: while a pre-trade check is happening on Tuesday, the weekly cadence is mid-revolution, the monthly one is accumulating, and the structural one is measuring something that will not resolve for a quarter. Each has its own instruments and its own ceiling on what it may conclude. The operator is always operating in all eight simultaneously, and most cadence errors come from taking a conclusion that belongs to one speed and acting on it at another.
Position on the scale is roughly how much evidence a horizon has to work with by the time it concludes. The ceiling on what each may conclude tracks that quantity — which is why a daily read cannot settle a question the quarterly one exists to answer.
