Certified Validation QA — The Audit Flow

Eligibility → scenarios → runs → verdict.

How MARS uses this

Each closed trade logs its worst adverse excursion and best favorable excursion. The lab plots them into quadrants and pairs the picture with capture efficiency, giveback, and fee drag - then the EV Driver Diagnostics rank which repair (entry location, coefficient, trail logic, cost avoidance) would move net expectancy most.

How it benefits you

Review produces one concrete fix instead of a vague resolution to 'trade better'. You see whether stops are too tight, entries are chased, exits leak the runner, or fees quietly eat the edge - and whether a profitable week was actually clean or just lucky.

CLEAN: low pain, high opportunitySURVIVORS: works, but absorbs painQUIET: low pain, low reachBLEEDERS: pain without payoffMAE (stop consumed) →MFE (opportunity) →

Every trade plotted by pain taken (MAE) versus opportunity generated (MFE). The four quadrants diagnose entry precision and exit management at a glance.

The pipeline

Eight stations, one direction.

Each artifact has a fixed role in the flow:

  • The Test Matrix defines valid timeframe-scenario combinations — eligibility comes first.
  • The Scenario Library assigns stable IDs; Expected Outputs define the contract.
  • Test Runs record each formal pass against a workbook version.
  • CHK tabs compare expected to actual — the moment of truth.
  • The Error Register blocks advancement on failures; the Retest Log proves repairs.
  • Master Control summarizes readiness and next action.

The blocking rule

Failures block. Retests prove.

An open error in the register stops a workbook version from advancing — no exceptions for 'probably fine'. Closure requires a passing retest logged against the same scenario contract that failed. Repair is proven, never assumed.

Coverage

What gets audited.

The deepest target is CP3's full evidence pipeline. The flow also audits the Weekly EV Scorecard, Throttle Control Panel, and Cycle Command Console — the modules whose outputs carry live governance weight.
