Execution Efficiency · Saturday Workflow
The Saturday efficiency pass.
Layer 01 — Weekly workflow
The Saturday efficiency pass.
After the Journal reconciliation, the efficiency pass runs: confirm data QA is clean, read the core KPIs, open the weekly rollup for high-MAE counts, weak capture, fee drag and swap exposure, then drill the selected week. A profitable week still gets checked for cleanliness — profit with poor capture, high giveback, and heavy fees is flagged as low-quality alpha.
- Red weeks get the adherence-and-excursion check before being ruled variance versus execution failure.
- One repair theme is recorded for the coming week — a single fix, not a resolution list.
- Branch and timeframe drills localize the weakness before anything system-wide gets touched.
Layer 02 — Where it lives
Inside Execution Efficiency.
Within Execution Efficiency, this is one load-bearing idea — worth its own page. The parent module frames it this way: Execution-efficiency diagnostics grade the trade lifecycle itself: MAE quality, MFE quality, efficiency zones, stop efficiency scores, execution grades, and branch-integrity flags — the layer that decides whether results are clean or merely lucky.
How MARS uses this
Six structural inputs are scored monthly into a composite, and the composite maps onto the regime ladder. MARS reads results in context: the same numbers mean different things earned in Expansion tailwind versus survived through Instability, and posture is adjusted to the regime rather than to the last trade.
How it benefits you
You know whether the environment is friendly or hostile to your system before deciding what recent results mean. Confidence stops being borrowed from lucky months, defensive posture arrives before damage instead of after it, and monthly review gains a one-glance structural summary.
Twelve months classified across the regime ladder - the system's own weather record, from Expansion down toward Drawdown Control.
Layer 03 — Sequence dependency
Efficiency runs after reconciliation, never before.
The Saturday pass grades excursion capture only once the journal has been reconciled against broker records — grading unverified rows would launder entry errors into management verdicts. The ordering looks bureaucratic exactly once: the first time a fat-fingered MFE would have sent the repair engine chasing a phantom leak.
The governing idea

This module doesn't work alone.

Operator briefs on this territory.
Deep dive — 01
Saturday: the only slot where the week is complete and nothing is at stake.
The week is closed, the next has not opened, and nothing is live. That combination exists once a week.

Deep dive — 02
Read the source layers before the dashboards. Always that order.
A dashboard renders whatever it is given, including a mistake — with the confidence of a finished number.

Deep dive — 03
The five questions of the Saturday pass, asked in sequence.
Entries, opportunity, exits, fees, location. Each answer narrows the next — and out of order they mislead.
