The MARS Story · The Core Idea
Discretionary execution. Quantitative governance.

The balance
01You keep the final click.
MARS does not remove the trader. Entries, exits, and trade selection remain human decisions. What it removes is discretionary capital deployment: every trade, every risk decision, every branch, every drawdown state, and every review cycle routes through structured governance — measured across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and structural horizons.
Why it works
02Structure where emotion is strongest.
Sizing, exposure, and drawdown response are exactly the decisions emotion corrupts most reliably — and exactly the decisions that compound. By making those mechanical while leaving execution discretionary, MARS puts the rails where they pay the most and keeps the human where humans add value.
The division of labor
03The human reads charts. The system reads the human.
The core idea assigns each party what it does best: the trader judges live structure, which no formula does well, while the system audits the trader's output — expectancy, adherence, drift — which no human does honestly about themselves. Neither replaces the other; the design is a partnership with the flattery removed.
How MARS uses this
MARS is a closed loop, not a pipeline. Trades produce evidence, evidence produces weekly grades, grades move gate state, gate state feeds the throttle, and the throttle governs what the next execution is allowed to be. No stage is optional and no stage runs on memory or mood - each one reads the outputs of the stage before it.
How it benefits you
Discipline stops depending on willpower. Because every decision point consumes the previous stage's output, skipping a step becomes visible instead of invisible - and the system keeps improving itself, since every completed loop leaves the evidence base one cycle richer than it found it.
The MARS operating loop: execute, capture, score, gate, throttle, deploy - every cycle feeding evidence into the next.
