The four references
Each answers a different question, and dropping any one shifts the coefficient.
The trigger timeframe establishes the noise scale the entry is operating at. The authority timeframe establishes what the higher structure is doing to that noise — a five-minute trigger trailing beneath an orderly hourly trend behaves differently from the same trigger with no higher-timeframe support. Asset class establishes the family's typical behaviour, which is why a metal and a cross are not comparable at the same ratio. Engine mode establishes which management regime is active and therefore what the distance is for. Four questions, four references, one answer that depends on all of them.
Only the first column is in the window during a live decision. The other three are available, and they are available on a different surface at a different moment — which is the entire argument for reading them before the session rather than during it.
