Two quality metrics measuring the same machine should confirm each other. When they stop confirming, that divergence is information — and this engine refuses to let it stay silent.

RAER and RAPF are both computed from CP3's evidence layers. Running the contradiction test inside the same workbook means a divergence is flagged the same week it appears — before a healthy-looking blended EV can paper over it for a month.

Resolution order

Disagreements resolve by hierarchy, never by preference.

When the contradiction check fires inside CP3, the resolution path is fixed: identify which engine sits higher in the authority chain, treat its read as governing, and log the dissent for the monthly review. What never happens is the operator choosing whichever number feels right — the whole engine exists to close that door.
